Cradle Assembly

To assemble your new cradle:

  • Locate the four corner posts. These are the thick pieces of timber marked with a “B” on the base.
  • Find the five short rails.
  • Using the 50mm bolts (provided), bolt the short rails to the corner posts.
  • Using the last 4 rails and 60mm bolts (provided), join the ends together to complete the assembly of the cradle frame

Enjoy your cradle, and may your little one have sweet dreams!

Cradle with Curtain Assembly

  • Locate the four corner posts. These are the thick pieces of timber marked with a “B” on the base.
  • Two of the four posts have one additional hole for attaching the curtain pole.
  • Locate the five short rails.
  • Three of these short rails should then be screwed to  these posts with the additional holes, using the 50mm bolts provided.
  • Two of the above short rails have a hole in the centre of the rail. These need to be positioned towards the top of the cradle, as they will hold the curtain post.
  • Using the remaining two corner posts, bolt the remaining two short rails in place.
  • Using the 60mm bolts provided, screw the longer rails in place – joining the 2 ends together.
  • Finally, attach the remaining longest and shortest pieces together to form an upside down ‘L’ and then attach the long piece to the remaining holes to form the cradle pole.

Adding the curtain:

(Please be gentle with the curtain)

  • Hold the muslin curtain with the ties at the top.  Slide your fingers up inside the fold of the curtain on the side (not the sewn top) to find the top inside corner.
  • Taking care not to break the stitching, gently find the gap created and insert the small end of the pole into this space.  Gently work the curtain on until it reaches the closed end.
  • Tie the tie to keep the curtain from slipping off and tie the tie at the other end around the long upright pole so secure the curtain in place.
  • Gently drape the curtain.

Enjoy your cradle, and may your little one have sweet dreams!
